Loraine is a landscape painter based in Bowral, in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

Loraine paints in an intuitive contemporary style, integrating an array of art materials including inks, acrylic paints, oil sticks, charcoal and graphite into her mixed media works.  

 

Loraine’s work has evolved over time from intricate collages and free-flowing semi-abstract pieces, to large works with movement and flow. She uses broad sweeping motions and gestural abstraction, including mixed media to support her style.

 

Since making a tree change from Sydney to the Southern Highlands many years ago,  Loraine has successfully entered and exhibited in galleries and group exhibitions throughout the Southern Highlands.
